Are you working with multiple Google Forms and looking for a way to consolidate them? Do you want to automatically integrate data from one Google Form to another in real-time? We understand how important it is to have seamless connectivity between apps and forms to dynamically exchange data instead of doing it manually.
Google Forms does not have a native method to get data from other Google Forms. Of course, there are 3rd party extensions, plugins, and tools that allow you to configure data exchange between Google Forms. But if you are looking for a straightforward and efficient method to exchange data between the apps within your ecosystem, we have your back. Clappia provides a very robust feature in the form of a Get Data from Other App block that allows you to pull specific data from other apps within the Clappia workspace. You can leverage this feature to fully automate your operations, build efficient workflows across multiple applications and build a robust dashboard for live tracking and automatic reporting.
To create apps with Clappia, you don't need to write a single line of code. Moreover, Clappia also addresses various limitations of Google Forms by including aspects such as GPS location, QR code/Barcode scanner, live tracking, live camera, image and signature uploading, etc. These enhanced features allow businesses to replace computers and excel sheets with smartphones to make business decisions automatically and reach the next level of productivity.
Clappia's App Designer Blocks include a variety of blocks for data input, upload, and processing, as well as options for adding workflows, including analytics, integrating with other APIs, and so on.
Clappia includes the Get Data from other Apps block as part of the Data Processing Blocks, which you can use to fetch data from other apps in your Clappia workplace.
To add the Get Data from other Apps block to your app, drag it and drop it into the app designer. You can configure this block based on your needs. This block comes with the following options:
The data source app option provides a dropdown list of all available apps in your Clappia workplace. You can select the app from where you want to fetch the data. If this list is empty, there are no apps in the workspace, and it is an opportunity to create your first Clappia app.
For example, if you have an automatic invoicing app, you can select the master app that has the details of all the customers, like customer ID, customer name, email, phone number, address, etc.
The selection fields option provides a dropdown list of all the fields available in the selected master app. You can choose the main field(s) based on which the app will search and pull other selected fields from the master app.
For example, you can select customer ID and Customer name as the main field.
This option provides a dropdown list of all the fields available in the selected master app. Based on the main field(s) that you have chosen under “Selection fields” in the app, you can select additional fields that you want to pull from the master app.
For example, since we have selected customer ID as the main field, you can choose other fields you want to pull into the app from the master app. If you have selected the customer name, address, and phone number, then the app will import the relevant information from the master app based on the customer ID that you have selected.
Clappia allows admins to set the status for each submission. You can fetch the selected fields based on the submission status using the status filter.
For example, you can fetch the details of all the submitted or pending invoices.
If you want to tailor your selection further, you can use this filter and fetch data based on your needs. The dynamic filter allows you to form a choice based on a particular field.
For example, you can use this filter if you want to fetch details of the customer who have your membership or your exclusive and premium customers. You can also filter customers based on their gender or geography.
This option allows you to select the fields in the app that will be visible to the developer when they try to pull data from this app.
For example, if you do not want other apps to pull the customer address, you can disable that field in the master app to ensure that other apps cannot import it.
You can also configure if you want the user to change the values after submitting the form. Additionally, you can use the “required” option to ensure that the users can submit the form only after they input the necessary information.
In the digital age, it is essential to have multiple apps to streamline your processes and also the ability to exchange data seamlessly between various apps and forms. It’s time to abandon paper-based and expensive ERP-based applications and move to dynamic smartphone-based apps that enable you to make decisions using real-time data.
Clappia’s Get Data from other Apps block is a perfect way to employ connectivity between the bundle of apps used to run your enterprise. Such connectivity between multiple apps within your workspace increases productivity and efficiency and transforms the way you do business.
