You can submit a request to delete the workplace by simply selecting the option of delete workplace, type ‘delete workplace’ in the input box on the right paneland click on the Delete button. The input box is case sensitive.
When a workplace deletion request is submitted, the following steps and considerations apply:
Deletion Window: After the deletion request is submitted, the workplace enters a 30-day deletion period. During this period, the workplace can still be restored if required.
Email Notifications: Email notifications are sent regarding the deletion request. If the workplace is not restored within the 30-day period, the deletion process proceeds automatically.
Access After Request:
After the deletion request is submitted, the workplace eventually becomes inaccessible, but the associated data remains stored in Clappia’s system during the 30-day deletion period. During this period, workplace managers can restore the workplace if needed.
Permanent Deletion of Data: After 30 days from the deletion request, all associated data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. This includes:
Workplace users and app users
Apps within the workplace
App submissions and submission history
Uploaded files, PDFs, and Excel files
Logs and system history
SMTP settings and other workplace preferences
Integrations using personal credentials such as SMTP, database connections, and API keys
Export Options: Before submitting a deletion request, it is recommended to export important app submissions. You can download submissions from the Submissions tab or connect to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel to back up your data.
Impact on Users: All assigned users lose access to the apps associated with the deleted workplace. Ensure users are informed beforehand if needed. This process ensures data is securely handled and complies with privacy regulations.
