This article explains the Sync node that can be configured as part of Workflows. Learn more about using workflows here. This node can be used to send notifications on the Clappia Sync App.
Sending WhatsApp-styled notifications to other members of the organization.
Sending Invoices, Quotations, Purchase Orders, PaySlips and other documents to your Vendors, partners and employees.
Sending automated notifications/reminders to a group of users at once.
Configuring the Clappia Sync Workflow
Click on the block and start editing on the panel that appears on the right side.
This is the name that appears in the Workflow on the left side. If there are multiple Sync nodes in the workflow, set different step names like NotifyHR, NotifyFinance etc.
Comma-separated list of email addresses to whom the notifications will be sent. We can enter static email addresses or use @ to use any email variable defined in the app. Learn more about using variables in workflows here.
Enter the body of the notification message. The body can contain variables from the app to customize the notification.
Parent step refers to the function which is just above the Sync node. Here, it is the Start function.
Enable this Step
This step is enabled by default. You can disable this step to prevent this step and the steps below this one from executing.
Receiving the notifications on the Clappia Sync App
To receive the notifications, you need to install the Clappia Sync App from Google PlayStore and login with the credentials of your Clappia Workplace. Once the workflow runs, you will get the notification on the Sync App.
